Strategy pivot to measuring feet

After launching Weitblick.ai we focused on the 3D model market. Our vision was to create a solution that enables every shop owner to create a 3D model of the offered products is still something we would like to work on. However, nothing beats reality.

After months of interviews, sales meetings, and demos we realized that our solution is interesting for a lot of people, but nothing someone would pay for (at least at this stage). So the business model of selling 3D models of shoes needed to be fixed for us.

Never gave up looking for sunshine (or the perfect wave - yes, we are both surfers).

With this mindset, we continued to look for opportunities and it opened the door at one of the European largest shoe retailers. As we can use our underlying AI technology not only to create 3D models but to measure feet we can solve another problem for shoe shoppers:

Do I need to size my AirForce 1 up or down?

What is the correct shoe size of my kids feet?

... you get the idea.

Incentives for online shoe retailers are lower returns (this is the holy grail of online shops and we might have one hint getting closer).

So, all we want to tell you: we made a pivot to measure feet.

We can do this precisely, fast, and with an amazing customer experience. This convinced our unnamed massive shoe retailer to integrate Weitblick.ai into their consumer app.
